Dr. Rostan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina.  He received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.  He completed his dermatology residency at Brooke Army Medical Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.  He is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Dermatopathology.  Dr. Rostan has been associated with Pinehurst Dermatology since July 1976.

Dr. Grine graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina.  He received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.  He completed his dermatology residency at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia.  He is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology.  Dr. Grine has been associated with Pinehurst Dermatology since July 1997

Elena M. Avila, PA-C

Elena Avila PA-C attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, earning a Bachelor of Science In Neuroscience. She went to graduate school at Duke University Medical Center where she earned her Physicians Assistant Certification and Masters in Health Sciences in 1998.  She is knowledgeable in a wide range of medical surgical and cosmetic dermatology for all age groups.  Elena Avila, PA-C has been associated with Pinehurst Dermatology since June 2005.
